diversity of our practice, we maintain long-term relationships with
our clients. It is the guiding principle of our firm to ensure that
the true needs and concerns of our clients are understood, addressed
and fulfilled as promptly and efficiently as possible while also
utilizing every benefit that the law will allow. Such in-depth
knowledge of our clients leads to better advice for each client and
a better delivery of legal services.
Our attorneys come from diverse backgrounds, training and education; focusing in various areas of law including but not limited to estate planning, wills, powers of attorney, family law, divorce, child support modification and enforcement, collaborative law, and mediation. Our attorneys practice law in all municipal, state and federal courts in Texas, especially the Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Collin County and Dallas / Fort Worth areas, on both the trial and appellate levels. Each of our attorneys concentrates on different areas of the law and clients are matched with the attorney who is best suited to meet their needs. At the same time, both attorneys work together to ensure that each client receives the very best that the firm has to offer. The attorneys are highly-trained in their practice areas and respected by other attorneys, judges and members of the legal community throughout North Texas.

J. Ryan Nordhaus has been practicing law in Collin County since April 2003. He is a shareholder with Nordhaus & Nordhaus, PC, and is "of counsel" with Boyd Veigel, PC in McKinney, Texas.
Mr. Nordhaus graduated from Baylor University with a B.B.A. in August 1998. He received his Juris Doctor at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in July 2002. He graduated from the S.M.U. School of Law with an L.L.M. in December 2005. He also participated and completed the Institute on International and Comparative Law Study Abroad Program in Florence, Italy through the University of San Diego School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas on April 3, 2003.
Mr. Nordhaus spends the majority of his time handling family law cases and matters ancillary thereto. His business and tax backgrounds offer clients a unique perspective in sophisticated property matters in divorces and when there are child support issues.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, McKinney Chamber of Commerce, State Bar College, and Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
